How can I make a Reservation at Hidden Pond?

Reservations for Hidden Pond can be made by telephone 888-967-9050 or online. A room is not reserved until a credit card has been obtained for deposit. Please note: upon confirmation of your reservation, you are obligated for the deposit, as outlined below. A confirmation email will be sent to you. Should you not receive a confirmation email it is your responsibility to contact us to ensure we have the correct information on file.

What is the Resort’s Deposit and Payment Policy?

All deposits will be charged at the time of booking and applies to any and all date(s) of your reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cash, check and gift certificates issued by Hidden Pond and the Kennebunkport Resort Collection are also accepted. If you plan on using a gift certificate, please let us know at the time of booking. The following structure applies to calculate a deposit:

  • 1 night: Full amount (including taxes and fees)
  • 2+ nights: 50% of the total amount (including taxes and fees), with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your arrival.
  • Advance Purchase requires payment in full at time of reservation, including taxes & fees

What is the Resort’s Cancellation Policy?

We are a small but luxurious Kennebunkport hotel; therefore, cancellations affect us significantly. If you find it necessary to change or cancel your reservation, we require a minimum of 30 days’ notice to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $100 administration fee. Should you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, your reservation is non-cancellable and non-refundable, and the full payment will be forfeited.

Please note, guests are always welcome to send a friend or family member to take their place as a guest of Hidden Pond.

Does the Resort have a Minimum Stay Policy?

Three, sometimes four-night minimum stays are required during peak season and for all major holiday weekends. If our availability allows for a one-night stay, we may make an exception to the Minimum Stay Policy.

What if I am traveling with Additional Persons or Children?

All Bungalows are adults-only and are quoted for double occupancy. Two-Bedroom Cottages & Treetop Lodges can accommodate up to five (5) guests. Please note, Hidden Pond can provide a pack-n-play or standard crib free of charge.

What time is Check-In/Check-Out?

Check-in is guaranteed by 3:00 PM. Please contact the hotel prior to arrival if you would like to request an earlier check-in time. Should you arrive early and your cottage is not quite ready, guests are welcome to enjoy the resort and amenities until check-in. The front desk is open until 11:00 PM. For arrivals after 11:00 PM, please contact the front desk prior to closing to receive instructions on how to retrieve your room key. Check-out time is prior to 11:00 AM. Late check-outs are based on availability and may incur an additional fee.

What hours is the Front Desk open?

Front desk hours are 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM. We recommend guests contact us via email at info@hiddenpondmaine.com outside of normal business hours.

What is the Resort’s Pet Policy?

Our property cannot accommodate pets. However, we would be happy to recommend a kennel in the Kennebunkport area.

What is the Resort’s Smoking Policy?

Hidden Pond is a 100% non-smoking resort. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. There is a $250 cleaning fee applied if guests are found to have smoked in or outside of the rooms.

What is the Resort’s Policy on Alcohol?

Due to Maine State Law, only “Hotel Served” alcoholic beverages may be consumed in public spaces. If you wish to bring alcohol on property, it can only be consumed in the privacy of your room.
