The Child Abuse Prevention Council of York County is a non-profit organization committed to the prevention of all forms of child abuse and neglect. Central to the mission is the promotion of healthy, nurturing relationships between children and adults. Through education, collaboration and advocacy the Council provides programs and events that foster the well-being of children and families throughout York County.
The Kennebunkport Conservation Trust has been working to preserve the beauty and character of our community since 1973. The
organization remains as resolute today in its desire to protect the landscape and character of this town we all love. We strive to acquire undeveloped land within
Kennebunkport so that it might remain in its natural state forever. These areas provide retreats in which wildlife can find refuge, recreational sites can be
maintained, and enough of our town's own natural beauty can be protected so future generations will be able to enjoy it as we now do.
River Tree Center for the Arts is a non-profit community arts organization providing accessible opportunities for appreciation,
education and participation in the Arts for everyone. In keeping with this mission, we have served the communities of southern Maine since 1982, providing art classes
and lessons for children and adults in the Irvine School of Art; vacation arts camps for children; music classes (both instrumental and vocal) for children and adults
in the Chappell School of Music; concerts; visual art exhibitions in the Irvine Gallery of Art and the Performance Hall Gallery; dance and theater performances; other
public programs including lectures and films.
